Game Information
Release date: 23rd September 2011
Developer: Codemasters
Platform: All
Genre: Racing

Synopsis from Wikipedia
At E3, Codemasters announced that the focus of F1 2011 is to "Be the Driver, Live the Life, Go Compete". and that multiplayer aspects of the game are being emphasized as a part of this. Online multiplayer have a maximum of sixteen players in a race with the option to include an additional eight AI-controlled cars. Objectives are also included in multiplayer. A split-screen multiplayer mode is implemented, as is an online co-operative championship. In August 2011, Codemasters announced that the safety car would be implemented in the game following its absence in F1 2010, and that it would be available in races that are 20% of real race distance or longer. Red flags are also included for situations where the safety car cannot get around the track, but not for extreme weather conditions. Rule changes for the 2011 season, including KERS, DRS and Pirelli tyres are also featured in the game.

Gameplay
The gameplay is insane. It runs so smooth even when travelling at speed up to 200mph. There are many modes which include multiplayer, career, time trial and time attack which make the gameplay more inviting. This boosts up the score for gameplay. Bringing KERS and DRS into the game makes the gameplay feel more realistic. More failures has been put in the game like engine failure, punctures and damage to the vehicle itself which is very unique.

Graphics
The graphics are unbelievably good. All tracks have pin point detail. 'Circuit de Monaco' for example, is exactly like it is in real life. I have travelled around the track and every minor detail is the same. Even the main menu graphics are good. The picture in the background moves giving the impression that you are walking around the paddock. The career mode menu is very detailed. You have a laptop in front of you where you can check details for the race ahead, there is a TV screen showing the car going around the next track you will be racing as well as a window right in front of you where you can see cheerleaders, drivers being interviewed and much more.

Reception
F1 2011 gained many positive reviews from the major reviewing companies. the introduction of KERS and DRS were particularly pointed out by reviewers. A few reviewer companies thought that the advance AI system was a bit to advanced and made the game very hard.

Final Ratings
Gameplay - 8/10
Graphics - 10/10
Reception - 9/10
Overall - 9/10

This game is so similar to the last one it might as well be the last one. but that is not a bad thing. Last year they did everything right and this year they have just gone and make this one even better by updating the graphics, making everything better, the cars the drivers even the main menu, they all look amazing. The safety car is amazing, the KRS and DRS are so good the crashes the damage the pit stops, everything is just so good, the AI is so much more human, they make mistakes, everything is just so perfect. I don't this Codemaster could have made a better game.
