Synopsis (super mario bro)

new super mario bro is a ported wii version of super mario bro for ds. The release date was originally planned for November 6. However, the release date had been delayed to november 15 because the team needed "to make some improvements" on the game.


LIVE Multiplayer

The LIVE Multiplayer is fun and there aren't a lot of people playing, but there's enough to get yourself into a Game. this is a grate game to play online.
As you could tell there aren't many people playing it, but it's fun, especially kill monsters with people and completing levels together.

a wii and internet connection for online

the Gameplay
It is like super mario bro on the ds, but with wii. I highly recommend you have space to move around.
It's a bit challenging since you have to play with a wireless remote, and your pressing all these different buttons to do different.

Overall Score - 8/10

It needs some work, they should have made the Graphics at least a tiny bit better.

Synopsis

In the campaign, Allied agents from the fictional "Office of Secret Actions" (OSA) are sent to investigate rumors surrounding one of Heinrich Himmler's personal projects, the SS Paranormal Division (also see Ahnenerbe). The agents are, however, captured before completing their mission and are imprisoned in Castle Wolfenstein. Taking the role of Blazkowicz, the player must escape the castle and continue investigating the activities of the SS Paranormal Division, which include research on resurrecting corpses, biotechnology, and secret weapons. During the game the player battles Waffen SS soldiers, elite Fallschirmjger (paratroopers) known as Black Guards, undead creatures, and bersoldaten (supersoldiers) formed from a blend of surgery and chemical engineering conducted by Wilhelm "Deathshead" Strasse. The end boss is an undead Saxon warrior-prince named Heinrich I.
The cable car in the castle is based on the 1968 movie Where Eagles Dare, where a U.S. Army Brigadier General is captured and taken prisoner to the Schlo Adler, a fortress high in the Alps above the town of Werfen, only reachable by cable car, and the headquarters of the German Secret Service in southern Bavaria.[4][5] The supernatural element is based on the story of Castle Wewelsburg, a 17th century castle occupied by the Germans under Heinrich Himmler's control, and used for occult rituals and practices.
In the German version of the game, it avoids making direct reference to Nazi Party and the "Third Reich", in order to comply with strict laws in Germany. The player is not battling Nazis but a secret sect called the "Wolves" led by Heinrich Hller, whose name is a pun of the original character Himmler (Himmler roughly translates as "Heavener", Hller as "Heller"). The Nazi swastika is also not present, the German forces use a Wolfenstein logo which is a combination of a stylized double-headed eagle prominent in most Nazi symbolism, a "W" (standing for Wolfenstein), and the Quake III: Team Arena "QIII" logo (the game engine and network code that RTCW is based upon). The "W" eagle logo is prominently seen on the cover art for the American version (above).
Music pieces such as Moonlight sonata and Fr Elise are used in the single player campaign.
The team-based networked multiplayer features different character classes that must work together in order to win. There are four classes lieutenant, medic, engineer, and soldier the soldier can be one of several subclasses depending upon the special/heavy weapon that he selects. The multiplayer demo includes a beachhead assault map similar to Omaha Beach.

Story

In the campaign you play as B.J. Blazkowicz and Agent One as they try and uncover the activities of the SS Paranormal Division. Close to discovering some of the activites B.J and Agent One are captured by nazi troops. Once they are captured you must fight your way out of the Wolfenstien Castle and make your way to a member of the German Resistance. He is located in the city and is there to give you a hand.
After making your way through the Nazi infested city you have to descend into the catacombs to discover what the SS Paranormal Division is trying to uncover. You have to fight your way through Nazi's and undead to only find yourself at the Defiled Church, where Nazi scientist Professor Zemph is trying to awaken the Dark Knight. With yuor luck he awakens Olaric. You have to defeat Olaric to acquire the Dagger of Warding. Once you gained this item you are airlifted out.
The SS Special Division is planning on launching a V-2 rocket filled with an experimental germ. You are thrown in to stop it. You successfully stop the V-2 and escape on a 'Kobra'.
Eager to know more about Deathshead's secret project you are deployed into Kugelstadt. At Kugelstadt you discover the Venom Gun and break into the secret weapon facility. Only to find horrific creatures, malformed and twisted through surgery and mechanical implants. You see Deathshead escape in a u-boat, but learn his desired location by interrogating a German solider.
You then parachute into Norway and find Deathshead's x-labs, which has been over run by the malformed creature. You then confronts several prototype bersoldaten (super solider) which you defeat with a struggle. After you kill one bersoldaten Deathshead escapes on a 'Kobra' and isn't seen again in this game.
After close examination of documents you recovered, the OSA learns of a plan to resurrect Heinrich I. You are deployed into the Chateau Schufstaffel and fight your way through only to come in direct contact with Heinrich I. After a long battle you are able to defeat this creature of the damned.

The game play is similar to popular titles like Call of Duty and Battlefield. This game similar to the others have a playable campaign and a multiplayer with multipule modes to suit your playing style.

Graphics

The graphics were above average for the game's time, it looks like a game from 2004-2005. The NPC's are duplicated with no differences and the motion of the characters to objects is poor. Overall this game would get a 8/10 for graphic (for the time period).

Controls

I find the controls of this game to be very in-fluent and awkward. Using a trigger to jump and the 'A' and 'B' button to cycle weapons is awkward compared to games like Call Of Duty and Battlefield. I do find it helpful that you can assign any button to any command which helps tremendously.[/spoil]

Extra

This series particularly amazing, because it defined FPS with it's first title 'Wolfenstien 3D' and then made this awesome comeback nine years later.

Rating:
I rate this game a 8.5/10, because it has given me countless hours of fun and I cannot seem to put this game down. The only reason it didn't receive higher is the lack of fluid controls for default.
