These do work. I found that the latest Apollo Save Tool 1.8.7 is corrupting saves. I can use it to download a save, cheat modify a save, and resign the save, but if I use Apollo to copy the save to the HDD, it corrupts it. Instead of saying "Silent Hill 2 HD" and game stage, play time, action and riddle levels, it says BLUS30810_(random characters) and "Saved by Apollo Save Tool" and the game refuses to "see" the save. If I use the XMB to copy the downloaded, modified and resigned save across, it works fine. TLDR - don't use Apollo to copy the save to the HDD, only use it to modify and resign. Use the XMB to copy the resigned save across.

Ok so l just checked the region through BruteForce and it is ALREADY EU region. so these files simply just DONT WORK

The ONLY way this might work as if someone Re-Regions this and RE-UPLOADS it to this site.

You look at the file after you have extracted it and put it on a USB stick and you go to Re-sign it. you hover over it and you can see its written in some WEIRD LANGUAGE. So maybe its a Japanese version or something. which would be weird as hell considering the description here is all written in ENGLISH.

So HOPEFULLY someone can RE-REGION this to EU version and re-upload it to this site, so l can see if it works that way, it definetly DOES NOT work in its current form on EU or USA region, as l am in EU and the file doesnt even read on my PS3 after Resigning it.

none of the files work. after resigning them and copying them to the PS3 they wont read in game, you load up Silent Hill 2 and on the MAIN game screen the LOAD game section WONT show up at all. it wont read the file. and tried a few of the files aswell. tried the In Water ending game save. its written in some weird language and resigned it and wont read in game. tried the Green Hyper Spray game save. and AGAIN it will not show up the load game screen on the main screen. it just says New Game and Options. LOAD GAME ISNT EVEN THERE.

Dont waste time downloading this save guys, its rubbish. l should of payed attention to the 3.67 out of 10 Stars rating this person has for this save set.

Tried the In Water ending and doesnt work. l resigned it without a problem. copied it to the PS3 and shows up on the Game Save section. start the game and it doesnt show load the save file. it doesnt even show up on the main screen to load the game.

l did notice there is ONE that is missing though in this set. the I.Q test trophy for finishing on Extra Riddle mode.
l already did Silent Hill 3 completely legit years ago. and about 75% completed on Silent Hill 2 so far all legit aswell.
would of been nice to see that one in the list. doesnt matter much for me though, since l like earning everything legit myself.

Bahamut07 Just tried this on 12/1/2020 on a throw away account and it worked! Use Bruteforce to convert the save to your profile AND change the region to US and make sure you rebuild again after changing region and it will work. I transferred the save to a USB, to my PS3, copied it to my system, the game recognized the save, I loaded the save, turned around and picked up the Green Hyper Spray and it popped the Who Needs a Gun? trophy. I can't get it to work. I already patched it with Brute Force to my profile and even changed the region and did the rebuild. you don't mention But it keeps loading infinitely with the steps screen.I tried with the EU version of the game and leaving the game in EU and I even downloaded the US version and changed the game to US but it doesn't work.
