Well newer boards usually have more stable overclocks so you may want to find a board with a newer chipset and not a new cpu.

I don't know how much you're willing to spend but you can buy a b360 which would have a more stable over clock than your current board, but if you have the money you could buy a new cpu and board

It will most likely be a cpu from that series unless a quick upgrade will work for the bios. Once again if you have the money you can just buy like a $100 board maybe less due to Black Friday and get a new cpu along with it.

No, he absolutely could not. A B360 motherboard won't support any overclock, stable or not. It's not a chipset which allows overclocking. Not only that, but it wouldn't be compatible with his current CPU. Plus, B series chipsets are technically lower end than H series chipsets so there's absolutely no reason to just upgrade motherboard, especially to one which is incompatible.

Read the rules then. We can't help you with such little information, we're not mind readers. We need to know your budget and currency at the VERY least. However, it would also be useful if we knew the rest of your specs- what is the make and model of your case and PSU? What specific RAM do you have, and it would also be useful to know what your storage situation is like?

Also, why exactly are you wanting to upgrade?
