So my home was broken into this week. Everything of value was stolen my most expensive thing was my Gaming Setup. Xbox one X with a MSI 24inch Monitor elite controller and games. Well I'm on here because I want opinions for when I can afford to get another system if I should stick with Xbox one X or go PS4 Pro. I will have time to make a decision since my kids things matter first for me to buy all over again. So please help me decide on a new console for me to (eventually) purchase. Thank you in advance for advice/opinions.

Sorry to hear my man, i hope all gets better down the road.

As for console, if you're really strapped for cash you could always just grab a one S with 1TB so they won't have to worry about space, it all depends on what games you let them play. Also, i personally like xbox's support because if a game (like 2k19 for me) has difficulties getting you your stuff, xbox usually gives refunds for anything lost. Ps4 doesn't give many refunds.

Again, i hope all goes well in the future.

Thank you I appreciate it. I think a one S should be okay for normal use. I used the one we had mainly for COD WW2

Yeah, that's just fine for cod and stuff, the real difference from the one S and the X is quality, unless you have a 4k tv it's not really worth it.

I've had both and I love my Xbox way more. I also got all my friends to switch over. Way way faster running consoles.

Xbox one.

It is a personal opinion but if you chose ps4 you're wrong.

I'm sorry to hear about what happened, in my personal opinion I think Xbox would be the best route for you. Xbox One S if you don't have a 4k TV or monitor. Or a Xbox One X if you want 4k.
