I know it isn't needed but I've heard rumors that the KV will last longer because the xbox isn't opening up any homebrew apps. Is this true? I can't find a download link for it

as long as you aren't signed into xbox live (i.e signing out of your account each time) you need to access homebrew for whatever reason, it shouldn't have an impact on you

I use it just because it's a lot faster versus xex menu. If you need more info check out this video.

Not really needed but I prefer it over all it's just so much easier to boot games and transfer files between computer and Xbox if you wanna change menu

Most servers spoof xex menu to look like you're on the dashboard. It won't affect your kv life by using xex menu if you're on a decent server.
