To be honest, if you're looking for a first car I wouldn't get either of the two.
Just get a cheap run around for your first get a bit more experience on the road,

But I would choose the Scirocco anyday simply because I love VW.

Best thing you can do is pass your test and go test drive them both see which one you like most

if your uk both of them are gunna be hella expensive, i mean i got a 1.4 2014 seat ibiza and its 1400 with a black box
