Anhur wrote I own both the VCR xbox one and the one X, nothing has changed except the loading times for some games like fortnite and 2k18, besides that its really not that big of a change on my 720p TV. Besides some minor graphic changes. For example:

Original Xbox one

Xbox one X

The only difference is rendering distance in some cases, rooms are a lot darker and the gun rarities are a lot brighter (in the second clip)

And that extra 1TB space is pretty good, went out and bought a 2TB hard drive, so when i switch i had 3Tb's of space to just download games ill only play for a hour.

I was just gonna say you're not gonna notice any graphical difference in a 720p monitor, but the boot times are significantly faster aren't they!

Yeah, something along the lines of 5-8 seconds faster when loading into a fortnite game, and a good 30-50 seconds when loading into the neighborhood for 2k18, as for GTA, i didn't really pay attention. I'll have to test it again later.

As for the main menu for fortnite, that still takes a minute or so, i really didn't sit down and count, its still pretty long.

Famous wrote It'll be pointless to buy them new Xbox as they will have another one out in like 2 years.

Fortunately we don't have to worry about that. I know Sony's been rumored about the ps5 but the simple reality is technology hasn't advanced so much to create the next generation of consoles - they're definitely in the works, but right now I can't see it being more than a graphics / memory upgrade, and a small one at that. I doubt we'll have next gen consoles for another three to four years minimum.

It's hard to say reallly. With Microsoft being rich as hell, I think they will have more than just those on the new console. I don't want another console but for sure next two years we will have a new one.
