Ive built my PC a little over a year ago.

everything was working fine.

Now when i try shutting it off, the fans stay on( sometimes they stop),the motherboard lights are still on, the light strip i installed also stay on.

What could be the problem?

I have to shut off the PSU in order to completely shut it down.

I checked the option where the pc goes to "sleep" when I shut down and vice versa but everything is how its supposed to be.

Do i have to re install windows 10?

Thanks in advance

I had this problem at work. Do you have a HDMI plugged into your motherboard? I've had it where if the HDMI is plugged in, it will keep the fans spinning.

I'm going to out on a limb and say it's a Motherboard or PSU issue based on previous experience. I'd get an extra of both in and test. Once you've figured out what hardware is causing this, you can send the new motherboard / PSU back and get an RMA on the faulty device.
