Hi there, it's been quite a while since I've been on TTG. But I'm always happy to return from a slumber and get involved whenever an interesting topic presents itself.

I don't know anything about the average quality of topics/posts at the moment. However, I do know baloney when I smell it, and this topic of greatness you created seems similar to the aftermath of a questionable Mexican dinner at a red light district. And trust me, I know, I live in Amsterdam. I'm not sure what you are trying to accomplish with this topic, but I do hope that sharing your story today makes you sleep better at night. Except for the fact you are unhappy with terrible topics and yet you ironically contribute with this little gem of yours.

Everyone is hating on you because you're criticizing TTG. Apparently you can't do that? And while your post may be a little ironic, I think that what you're saying is still mostly true. In my experience, I rarely post anymore because 99% of topics are lame topics like the one you pointed out. And while I don't post a lot I come and lurk every day. Yet I find nothing worth posting on. I don't mind having a discussion on interesting topics. But when the majority of the posts are, Whats your favorite color? (The 10 millionth) what do you do for work? Who's your favorite user? It does make it seem like the average user is an 11 year old.
