JMG wrote Mines is the same, I have Sky fibre broadband and my internet is at like 28 mbps.. I seen on a deal with virgin that you can get 100+ mbps for around 30 a month included tv packages etc! Currently paying £45 a month for my sky package..

I just set up vigin's fibre 350 and thats only 48 a month... 3 quid more for over 10x the speed :')

It sounds like you won't be happy until you get faster internet. If you live in a royal area and not in a big city, the fastest speeds you will most likely see is about 100 down and 20 up. Also always go with Cable internet. NEVER GO WITH Satellite Internet. Although I am assuming you have done all of the basic stuff to try and get a little more speed out of your internet. Like you could try to unplug router/modem and plug them back in. Also if you are running wifi (Although I highly suggest getting an ethernet cable.) and have a 2G/5G setup and if you are close enough to your router then run on the 5g Connection. Also, you could always go into your routers settings by typing in your IP address on an internet browser and login (in most cases Username is: admin and Password is: password) after logging in you can play with the settings in there to make sure you are getting the most out of your router. I would make sure you are on the best Channel for your area etc. 99% of the time its best to leave Channel on Auto, but I have seen some people gain a lot out of taking it off Auto and finding a different Channel. Anyways hope you figure out whats slowing you down, or getting faster speeds. GL!

Its probably your provider, either play with a ethernet or call and ask what the problem is.
