I gotta tattoo 15 days ago (2 weeks and a day) and I know you're not supposed to swim BEFORE 2 weeks, would I be good to swim? Anyone have experience with this?

My tattoo artist told me to apply a good layer of a tattoo after care product over the tattoo before getting into a pool and the tattoo will be fine.

It all depends on how you felt the tattoo healed if its steal peeling I wouldn't. I wouldn't risk it and just wait a few more days but that's up to you.

you could always slap some Vaseline on it before going in and keeping the swim short

Luckily plans fell through and peeling stopped about 4-5 days ago

Make sure that your arm bands and safety vest doesn't irritate it I heard that can cause problems.
