Hi I play Xbox and am looking to build a pc. I'm going to buy one from overclockers because I'm paying half up front and paying the rest off over the year.. My limit is about £2000.
I'm looking for someone to help build a pc that runs at around 120+FPS if possible..
I'm no good with parts and everything and have no idea what parts I need to run.
Every little bit of help will be appreciateD

Do you need a monitor? If not, what monitor(s) will you be using with this system?
Do you need other peripherals, keyboard, mouse, headset, etc?
What exactly will you be using the system for?

i will be using 2 BenQ monitors. i will buy headset, mouse, keyboard and all the extras separate.

I'm just look for the general operating system and it will be used for gaming.

games like fortnite and call of duty zombies.

What specific BenQ monitors? They make a huge range of monitors with different resolutions and refresh rates. The capability of your monitors will determine which CPU and GPU make sense for you, so it's important we know this information.

What is your budget including peripherals(keyboard, mouse, etc), and what peripherals do you need?

Fortnite and CoD aren't particularly demanding games. Will you be playing a variety of games that might include some more demanding AAA titles?

Also I forgot to ask, will you overclock?
Do you have any brand preferences?

im really not that good with pc's at all. I'm looking to spend about £2000 on the tower system itself. and then about £1000 for mouse, keyboard, monitors and headset and what ever else i need.

i literally have no idea, I'm clueless and new to pcs haha.
i will be playing fortnight and COD Mostly, but i will play other titles like borderlands.

Alright, confusing, but from what I've gathered, it looks like you have a grand right now?
It looks like you're not going to be overclocking and have no brand preferences.

So what I'm going to do is give you a parts list for a £1000 system without peripherals. You could get peripherals for as little as £150. I wouldn'tbe spending more than £500 on peripherals. This way instead of having £1000-1500+ to pay on finance, you can just save that money for some upgrades in 2/3 years if you feel the need.

Total: £1006.94

You could probably even get away with spending less than this on a system tbh, depends what monitor(s) you end up getting. So if you can give us your budget for peripherals, I can help you with that and make any changes to the system you might want to make depending on the peripherals.

Remember, I'd recommend £150 minimum, and maybe £500 max(maybe a little more if you require more peripherals). We'll also need to know what peripherals you need. Monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, anything else- speakers, etc?

Also, what kind of monitor would you prefer? 1080p 144Hz, Ultrawide, 1440p, 4k?

i need a mouse, keyboard, monitor, got a headset. and i more then likely RUN 4k monitors.

4K monitors wont be a thing in any high FPS on that GPU, 4k is what the 1080 and 1080ti was meant for, the 580 is more for 1080p. I honestly wouldn't worry about 4k monitors right now especially if you are paying on finance.

Get the system 13 suggested and then get yourself a decent K&M and headset then just get middle of the park monitors dude and then if you really want them you can save up and buy them later on when GPU's will likely be cheaper and the monitors may be too.

And wireless cards are fairly cheap even the best ones are like £50 at most.

Alright, so I've swapped the i7 for an i5 to switch the RX 580 to a 1070Ti but keep the system within your £1000 budget, then I've included the 4k monitor outside of that budget. i5 and 1070Ti will perform better than the i7 and RX 580(at least with this monitor and your use case). I didn't include kb+mouse because I don't know if you have money for peripherals now, or if you might just use the £1k you have for the system, and maybe get the monitor on finance?

So for keyboard and mouse, I'd either grab a cheap 20 quid combo for now and upgrade them later, or spend £100-150 for a nice keyboard and mouse. I can make some recommendations if you want some more expensive kb+mouse, but pretty much any 20 quid combo from Amazon would be fine, just check reviews to make sure you don't buy some absolute trash.

Edit - Forgot to say, you won't be getting a 120Hz/144Hz 4k monitor. A 1070Ti will be great for 4k60 though, and the 4k monitor I included is pretty damn nice.
Also, yes, that is everything you need for the system to run.
I don't recommend using wi-fi. I'd use something like these instead if you can't run an ethernet from your router to your room;

If you need a wi-fi connection in case you take the system elsewhere or move it around a lot, then grab a PCIe wireless card. You can get a good one for 20-30 squids ez.

Oh, and I only included one monitor for now to get you going, but you can add a secondary monitor when you have some more money. You don't need to get another 4k monitor for the side though, so I'd get this to go alongside the 4k monitor I included;

Easy enough to add once you have a spare £100 or so.
