It looks like Daniel Cormier has has finally moved on from his arch rival Jon Jones and is looking ahead to the future.

Speaking to TMZ Sports in a recent interview, Cormier was asked if he had been keeping tabs on Jones' recent hearing with the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) over his failed drug test from UFC 214.

Cormier, 38, said he has 'disconnected' himself from Bones and has no interest in his troubles with the athletic commission.

"I wasn't watching," Cormier told TMZ about Jones' commission hearing, per MMA Fighting's Dave Doyle. "I was filming the [Ultimate Fighter] show. I honestly haven't paid that much attention to it. I told you guys I moved on. I have to move on.

"I have disconnected myself from that man and his issues. Once things have sorted out then I guess I'll pay attention again."

Jones, 30, originally KO'd Cormier in their light heavyweight championship rematch at UFC 214 but the win was overturned to a No Contest (NC) and 'DC' was reinstated as the official champion after 'Bones' tested positive for Turinabol (anabolic steroid).

The controversial UFC star was fined $205,000 and had his California fighters license revoked by CSAC, and could face a four-year suspension by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), who are still investigating Jones' failed drug test.

Cormier, who trains at San Jose's American Kickboxing Academy, thinks Jones has only himself to blame.

"I don't feel bad for him," he said. "Again, he put himself in all these situations. They were not forced on you. That's his reality now."

Cormier now has 'bigger fish to fry' and is gearing up for his heavyweight championship bout against Stipe Miocic at UFC 226.

"I've got bigger fish to fry: Stipe Miocic, and becoming two-division champion," Cormier said. "Maybe [Jones will] get an opportunity to take both belts from me or something, I don't know."

UFC 226 will feature the highly anticipated super-fight between Miocic on Cormier in the main event and is scheduled for July 7 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
