I cough a lot (due to my throat being dry from hitting a G-Pen) and today, I took a hit and started coughing as usual and I felt this awful pop in my ribs; felt as if one of my ribs moved over another rib, honestly. Now, every time I cough, it'll hurt like hell whenever I cough or make a wrong move or something of the sort.

Have any of you experienced this? If so, any home remedies on how to help with the pain? I read ice packs could help.

You should definitely go seek help from a medical professional and stop smoking for the time being. This isn't normal.

Yeah, I kind of wanted to avoid a doctor but it seems like that's the most wise choice I could make. I'm just wondering if there's something that will help make the pain go down a little bit.

Only thing that would help is painkillers and you really don't wanna do that unless you go to the doctor and get prescribed them
So best bet would be doctors m man

Honestly if it's pulled which it probably is, just lay down and find a comfortable position. You're still definitely gonna wanna go to the doctor bro.

Might be a pulled muscle might be a cracked rib. No way for us to know. Go seek medical help.

If you really don't/can't go to the doctors, In the UK we have a medical advice number (dial 111) to speak to a fully trained advisor and can either connect you to a specialist or recommend your next course of action, should it be going to see your doctor. If you're not from the UK you may have a similar system but I'd advise going to the doctors or walk-in clinic asap to be on the safe side.
