So I am 15, and new to this (obviously) fortunately my dad is going to help me with the build (he is rather technical) we thought that it would be a good bonding project All I really need to know is how to build a 'gaming' pc on a budget. Our limit would be £300-£400 but I preferably want something closer to £300 for obvious reasons. I am not looking for super technical components just a small setup that would run games like skyrim/sims 4 well. I do not plan on overloading with games like GTA 5 or many new titles, mainly just a few rpg's here and there. I'm also not that fussy when it comes to graphics either, mainly just how it runs (fps) So my setup plan at the moment is:

Cosair Vengeance ddr3 2x4gb of ram

Intel i36100

MSI h110m pro-vd motherboard

WD blue 1TB hard drive storage

EVGA 430w power supply

Gigabyte Radeon rx550 graphics card

Could I swap any of these for cheaper options that will still get the job done? Or is this a pretty good choice for my expectations? If you have any other suggestions please say! (Will these components work together fine?)

CPU: Intel Pentium G4560
RAM: Crucial 8GB DDR4
Board: MSI H110M Pro-D
GPU: Palit GTX 1050 Ti StormX
SSD: 120GB TeamGroup L3 EVO
PSU: Xilence Performance C 400 Watt
Case: Aerocool CS-1102

Could swap for HDD but i would suggest SSD..

Hope this helps.

i3-6100 makes no sense. Tagt EVGA 430W PSU is trash. Also the RAM is not compatible.

Add whatever GPU you can. 1050Ti is the best bet, but an RX 560/GTX 1050 will do. If you really need to save, get a GT 1030, bit it's a suuper basic, entry level GPU.
