I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado 1500 Ext Cab. I want to get a sub and a head unit. But I do not know very much about audio systems.

I would like to have a good amount of bass. I would like to spend around $250 - $300 on everything. That would include the sub, amp, head unit, wiring, etc.

I would also like to still have full functionality of my seats. So I am not going to remove my back seats.

I have been looking around and it seems like putting the subs under the back seats is a good location for them. So something like 10-12 inch woofers would be the way to go. But I do not know much about car audio and bigger is not always better.

So please give me suggestions.

Do you have a specific amp that would be good for these subs?

I looked at some kicker subs and I found these...

I am going to be putting these under my back seat, so I need some compact subs.

Here are some of the boxes I want to get

And If I only got one sub I would get this box...

I guess that I would be okay with one sub and the smaller enclosure. That would allow me to use the other side of the seat for storage. And I could raise the budget to something like $400.
