Ew no, 850 EVO is the exact same price.

Meh, he already has 2 x 1080p Dell monitors so an LG ultrawide would be a bit out of place maybe. Hence why I recommended a nice IPS 4k Dell monitor, but he could get a 1440p Dell monitor maybe, might be a nice middle ground;

U2515H is a beautiful 1440p monitor, and he can easily fit an R7 1700, this monitor and a GTX 1070/1080 within his budget. Or another monitor option;

TN and 24", but G-Sync and 165Hz at 1440p. You're really going to want a GTX 1080 paired with this monitor.

Yeah, I don't quite think you need 6TB. I'd probably add in a 2TB or 3TB HDD, and you can always add more storage later. I'd be more focused on getting that 500GB 850 EVO first though.

Kept the motherboard and RAM you like, plus the 500GB 850 EVO. Spend the extra $70 for the 165Hz monitor if you want, or drop the GTX 1080 to a GTX 1070 and grab the $480 4k monitor. Alternatively, you can get a nice LG 4k monitor for $350 but I tried to stick with Dell for monitor since that's what you already have. Again, 750W is plenty for SLI GTX 1070s or GTX 1080s, and the Capstone for $75 is a great price. You can get a fully modular, slightly better 750W PSU for $20-30 more if you really want. Seasonic Focus, Bitfenix Whisper, EVGA GS, or G2/G3 are my go to's.
