So I was a heavy energy drink user I would have at least 200 mg of caffeine throughout the day then I decided to quit completely I had a headache for about a day then for about a month my energy/ motivation declined dramatically I was unmotivated to do anything I was more slow at work and didn't have the motivation to try in school anymore. I understand the dopamine is what gives us pleasure and also is what gives you the drive to get things done so was it a decrease in dopamine in the brain that causes that feeling all month? So now I'm wondering if that was a withdrawal that lasted a months time or was it I was so used to the feeling that caffeine gave me I don't like how it feels without it? I'm just not sure I don't want to become dependent on it again but I also do like the feeling it gives me. So what is your opinion on caffeine do you like it and how often do you use it.

I used to abuse caffeine aswell, to the point my eyes were closing due to sleep deprivation but my brain would not let me fall asleep; thus I just laid down with a headrush most nights. Eventually, I slowed down and things kinda worked themselves out. All of that adrenaline has got to have some sort of short term effects. I would space out my consumption usage if I were you, friend. I believe I read an authentic story of a person who died from overdosing on caffeine in a headline near my city.

I know you can OD on caffeine I would never go over 200 mg of it a day but maybe theirs no harm in 100 mg's daily.

Caffeine is great in small doses. But when you become reliant on it to function. You have a problem lol.

It's great. I use it to wake me up in the morning with the occasional energy drink during the day.

Some people hate it or simply doesn't work. But for me it just gets me going xD

I only drink energy drinks now when I'm doing uni work like coding and stuff, used to drink it heavy a quite few years ago when I was at school, one before school, couple during , and then a couple after , and if i was playing xbox I'd buy a couple more to stay up late lol, used to just drink Relentless, still do.

Started taking pro plus when I went uni (2014 on my last year now) , but if i take a pro plus or other caffeine tablets I start to get pains in my upper left back and in my leftside chest :/ and I sometimes have to catch my breath by yawning sort of thing lol, sometimes happens after an energy drink but rarely.
