It really bothers me how some people today would rather be like someone else than to be themselves. Today you see people with the same hairstyles as others or people dressing the same way. It's really sad how people can orchestrate eachothers live's and influence eachother to not be themselves but to be like eachother. What do you guys think?

I dont know what you mean by saying "be like someone else". I mean if I like something someone is wearing I will probably buy it , it doesnt mean I am being like them and not myself.

Maybe I dont understand but thats what i have to say from what i read.

People dress and style themselves the "same way as others" because it's what's in. It's really not that surprising to see people dress like others because some people tend to follow the popular fads, such as streetwear and haircuts.

People are being themselves, it's just that WHAT'S IN when talking about fashion will always be mimicked by many. Now once you see people changing their way of life (for example, they've started to smoke cigarrettes) to try and fit in, THAT'S when they're trying to be the same as others.

When I look at some pictures on Instagram of how people dress, I try my best to cop what I like because it's what's in and because I like it.

There's a vast difference between trying to fit in and trying a new style and it just so happens that the style you tried is the same as other people's.

I see what you're saying.

It's just how the world is. Sometimes its just to fit in, or its because there is so many hypocritical and stereotypical people in the world where people try to look 'normal' by having a cool hairstyle, or wear nice expensive clothes to fit in and not be judged.

It's a shame.

That's why I can 21st century my friend.
People follow other people because they like the colour, the feel of that brand so they buy the same.
The word may be followed as "Inspired" or "Inspiration"

Many people these days try to get the same haircut as one another to fit in, like some people been getting the noodle hair cut, like idk why.

If they want to they do, but when they all take a picture together and just looks like a few pot noodles in a picture.

I tend to wear my own style, i don't see people dressing how i do.

We're in the society where fitting in with a crowd means more than being yourself.
