I agree with you on this one man I've been trying to gain post like this as well so i wouldn't really consider them spam.

Yeah the spams are real even if they're legit replies it's on topics being unearted from weeks ago.
But like Sean said, they're still new and for now it's a rat race.

I don't think that will stop people from doing it. It's going to get to a point that soon it'll become a post boosting circlejerk like the News Articles towards MVC used to be. During my first year here, I noticed there was a little group of like 7 or so people who would comment under one article, piggyback off a random user, then all have a discussion from one post, ranging a few pages in quotes. There's already been a few topics today I've seen where it looks like users are piggybacking off each other to get the circlejerk post boosting going. If people are digging posts back from April or so, come next month or two months from now, those posts will be bumped, just as posts back from May, June, ect.

Check out the gaming prefixes, Hardly ever users post on topics there but now all the old ones from months ago get brought up. But as long as the post is relevant and of quality, its fair. Miss the grave-digging rule.

Exactly what Sean said its a new thing that has come to the site, me myself love it as I post alot each day anyway as I go on TheTechGame at work. I cant watch movies or netflix as the work computer doesnt allow it lol so all I got is to surf on Teeteegee. But anyway this will die down in a few days untill next month begins lol. I still think this is awesome for the site as it does brings alot of activity to the site. I have seen a few people to start repling to posts made and can hopefully start a conversation about the topic which is the whole point in the first place, is why you can quote a users post. So if it carrys on this way would be great for the site. Also as maDz said you can always report the post if you think its spam, like if the post aint relevant to the topic or like one i see the other day saying "XO" thats a spam. I did also see a topic yesterday someone complaining about people making a posts just to thank the person for there thread, me myself dont think theres anythink wrong with that, I do it myself, but I try to add my opinion of what I think of the topic and then add a thanks after. So guys hope to see you around the fourms soon.

I hope you're right with this then because otherwise you'll just have the monthly who can post generic/vague replies a month. People as obvious are already posting 200 replies within hours and minute between minute. People even started posting on topics from 2014 even now.
