Im here to give my option.

I do like the apple watch. It is very comfortable and very Durable as i work construction and have smacked the screen several times. The software is pretty cool and very responsive. But TBH i rarely use it. This might sound really dumb. But i wear it most of the time when its dead. (Kinda feel like a badass with it) LOL No but really. Instead of spending how much i did on this apple watch. I would of been better off upgrading to the newer version of a Fitbit as i usually only wear the apple watch to track my steps/heart beat. Really thats the only thing i really use the watch for, is to see my heart beat and to count my steps etc. I rarely ever use any of the so called "Cool Features" on the apple watch. If i was to do it all over again i would of upgraded my old Fitbit to a newer version of a fitbit instead of going into bankruptcy over this damn apple watch. No but seriously they were really expensive when i bought mine, Like 700 dollars. So i guess they are alittle cheeper now. But im just giving u my option as you might be completely different and use all the fetures on the apple watch. I hope make the right decision and choose the right watch for you brother. TBH just buy a 600 dollsr gold watch that makes girls drop their pantties when they see it. Do that! LOL

My opinion they are pointless, seeing as they can do just the same amount of things as a iPhone..

I think Apple watches are overpriced and you're just paying for the make nothing else really if you think about it. Their watches do it's thing so I guess I do like them. Never bought a pair not my thing to wear.

Yep absolutely worth it mate, I don't go a day without wearing mine, I wouldn't say go for the sport though as I didn't really like the style of the watch, so I ended up getting the one for £600, with a black leather strap that broke so had to buy another strap.

The main reason I got mine is for the apple pay, which comes in handy especially when you forget your debit card like I do all the time lol Also I just wanted a quality watch that just tells the time lol. It's really good quality ain't run into any problems. Another great feature on it I use is the music where you can control your music app from the watch, changing tracks etc which is handy for when I'm in the gym. 100% would recommend it mate, well worth the money, especially if you're an apple fan, it feels its a must have.

How ever you going to need to charge the watch every day before you go bed, as the battery is shit lol, but even when the battery is dead obviously it will still tell the time but just won't have all the features. So if you don't mind charging the watch every day I would go pick one up tomorrow mate

I have owned a couple of Apple watches over the years. I like it because I'm really into fitness but I mostly use it to see what notifications are worth to pull my phone out of my pocket or to go get my phone. I would have to say it's not worth it. Me on the other hand I'll still own one. I'm an Apple person.

Edit: Do not buy a Apple Watch if you don't have an iPhone.

I have the series one apple watch, and I absolutely love this thing. It's so convenient for when I'm driving and I get a text. I can simply see what it says from my watch. It's great for changing music, and it's such a great help when it comes to work outs.

I definitely say it's worth it.
