in order to use homebrew programs, for soldering, would this product work for allowing me to add homebrew from my pc to xbox & use?
__

just needing some clarification before I go ahead with the purchase unless anyone knows of a better device, price isn't an issue lol, I would buy a pre-jtagged xbox360 but I much rather see if I can't do this myself haha

Any JTAG/RGH will allow you to run homebrew programs, If you have soldering experience you can attempt this yourself, but if you have none I'd talk to a professional & ask them for help or just purchase a console off them, I recommend talking to Rodent_Modz, he has a sticky topic on the top of this forum, He's a great guy & trusted seller with years of experience, so if you have any questions definitely hit him up
Goodluck with getting/making a RGH man!

Thanks, yes I have soldering experience with previous console systems, like ps2, wii etc.. however in my opinion Microsoft goes the extra mile to make it more difficult then any other system to chip mod, lol so I want to make sure I get the right stuff, the system I have now, I do not intend to go online with at all, costed me 10$ because everytime the drive opens, the xbox restarts lol... so I disabled the drive from opening/closing haha.. and just plan to homebrew it I actually got it just to see if I can't modify with this lol.

I know theres an issue with the dvd drive and it needs another dvd drive with the codes changed over, already looked all that up, it is an issue with the eye, anytime the eye reads a change it restarts, but it is just as cheap to rgh this then to buy a new drive or eye, that's why I disabled it and figured I won't need it lol, this is just something I am doing for a bit of fun, if I screw it up I screw it up. not really that concerned with messing it up just not buying a new drive for it right now, so I disabled it, and it doesn't automatically open, anytime I open it, and it closes. the xbox restarts. something to do with the laser having an error reading dvds I don't know all the technical behind it, but I know it requires replacing the laser.

the laser isn't why its opening and closing the laser is just why it doesn't read the games also if its reading dvd then the dvd key doesn't match the console I have been repairing consoles for over 9 years

sorry, you are misunderstanding me I think, let me explain lol.

the xbox 360 drive does not automatically open and close, it doesn't open on its own, just anytime I put anything in the drive rather it is a movie, game, or even music cd, as soon as I hear it starting to spin, the xbox 360 restarts, I looked this error up and t is an issue witht the laser reading a dvd, I do apologize if I was hard to understand.

if game is in the dvd drive and says play dvd usually its due to the dvd key doesn't match the console
i am willing to be this console has a benq drive or light on drive very common issue with the benq drives they burn up easly and have alot of board issues and if someone tried to flash the drive then they did it wrong

when any dvd is in drive, not just games it doesn't say anything, it just immediately restarts, doesn't get past closing it, then restarts system, I already took it to someone locally to look at it, before I did any research, it isn't just me saying ts the laser, the person I took it to said it has a bad laser, there.. and I don't know enough about xbox 360s yet to dispute any of it, either way it isn't a big issue at this stand point for me. that isn't why I opened this, noone still answered my question I opened this topic for, I am still looking around for the right coolmaster rgh and there are so many out there, I don't know what to get heh..
