Bandai Namco has pushed back sign ups for the upcoming Dragon Ball FighterZ closed beta due to "the volume of excitement and enthusiasm" following the original announcement.
Registration for the beta was originally set to open on July 26th, but the publisher has now pushed this back to August 22nd to expand the capacity of the closed beta in an effort to enable more players to participate in the program.
The beta itself will take place on September 16th and 17th across four play sessions lasting three hours each.
We want players to be able to enjoy the game at its best so we are making efforts to include more than the previously announced 9 characters in this Closed Beta, as well as a portion of the Lobby, the publisher added.
Dragon Ball FighterZ arrives on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC in early 2018.
