Just passed my airman tests for the RAF and the next step is a few months away after which is basic training. The whole process is due to take quite a long time so Ive got myself a full time job for inbertween.

I would if I was physically capable, but I'm assuming with some of my disabilities/limitations it would be impossible, even for a technical/non-combatitive position.

Growing up, I always saw myself being in some sort of Armed Force. To me, there's nothing better than fighting for the country you love, at the same time helping others in time of need. My Grandfather did Marines, my Dad did Marines, and that's what I wanted to do. Well, whenever I was a junior in high school I messed up my knee during a power lifting competition, and I have permanent issues with that specific knee. Talked to my local recruiter and he said that I won't be able to join for that reason. Broke my heart to say the least, but I like where my head is at now and the occupation I'm looking towards.
