Asking people on here is not the best thing to do... asking your parent's or relative would be more beneficial as most people on here are typically kids, who have never gone through this situation.

As stated by Illustrated he is right, She's a parent a grown women so the most important people in her life are her kids... she's not gonna trust someone because you say so? because you could just leave and break the kids hearts.

She will be wanting someone stable and who can be a good role model not someone who is just their for her, when getting with someone who has kids you need to understand that your also getting involved with the kids.

I'm now with a girl who has a kid and we all go out like a little family most days now. All my friends were like 'don't do that' etc but I did and I've never been happier. If you like her, get with her and be mature about it. Don't be a little kid and use single mother, that's not cool at all.

Yeah she may be short on cash but say upfront you're not here to spend every single penny on her from the get-go. Say you wanna start meeting, getting to know her and the kid and then provide for her if you really do love her. There's proving for someone and there's being used for money.
