I've posted this in the cod section but they're too focused on xp lobbies

I'm currently playing MWR and I'm using a turtle beach ear force recon but I literally can't hear dead silence in the game and it's annoying for GB

can anyone recommend a headset that you can actually hear footsteps with

thanks

turn your volume higher, you can hear footsteps even if they have dead silence. if u can't hear it still after raising the volume, get a better quality headset.
i've always used astro headsets, i currently use the astro a40 trs and their the best headset i ever used but normal astros will do you just fine.

I have both XB1 and PS4, I've been through it with headsets on the next gen consoles.

I don't own a PS4 headset, I just play radar GB on it. But for Xbox, I play GB V for MWR and I've tried multiple headsets. I first bought Turtle Beach XO7 Pro thinking that it will be okay as it was £90 (More expensive than any headset I've ever bought before on the 360) but they were pathetic as the ears were reversed so if someone was on my left I would hear them to my right. Then I used my old X12s from the 360 as I never had any problems hearing people on the 360, they were better but it required loads of wires so I decided to buy another XB1 headset.

Finally, my newest addition is the Turtle Beach 800X, they're wireless and surround sound 7.1. They have a mode called "Super Human Hearing" and it's the best headset I have ever used. Dead silence sounds like normal footsteps. I know they're for Xbox but you can get a PS4 version called Turtle Beach 800, if they're anything like the Xbox version they will be the best headset you can buy. They're pretty expensive but if you want the best headset, they're the way to go.

I'd reccommend Astros like the other guy's, They're pricey but if you're into it it's money well spent. Had a pair before and they're great!
