Hi guys I'm receiving my rgh tommarow so I am pretty new to this. So I'm going to be running XBLBallin stealth but my question is do I need to use a kv in the beginning or can I not use one until I get banned and then put on one?

If your RGH brings an unbanned KV with it, you can use it.

If it doesn't well, you have to buy one.

You might need a new KV, you might not. Some sellers ship consoles with a fresh KV, others don't. If the KV isn't banned, you will just need to put a server on and you'll be good to go.

Okay i bought from sharky customs if you are familiar with that, I don't know if he ships with a fresh kv or not..

Yes. I am aware of who that is. However, I do not know enough about his consoles/services to know if his consoles come with unbanned KVs. I'd assume they since he is a big seller, but I am not 100% sure.

To check if it's banned/unbanned, just throw a server on there and go test your connection. If it goes through and connects you to Xbox Live, then the KV obviously isn't banned. If the KV is banned, the test will fail and it will tell you that you're console banned.
