So I'm really wanting to get onto the modding scene but what are the basics I would need?

I obviously know I would need a jtagged xbox 360 with a sizeable hard drive but what else would I need?

I would probably be modding GTA V and the odd call of duty: thats about it.

Thanks

You'd need a good stealth server to keep you unbanned while you play. You need kvs for when you do get banned. You need a computer. And a lot of time lol

Modded Warfare is a great Youtube tutorial for setting up an RGH. All you'd need are the files and if I'm not mistaken, there's a tutorial on here called "Everything you need for jtag/rgh".

Not just the console, make sure you have a fairly decent PC/Laptop with the latest Net Frame Work. Way too many people think they can just hop on the console and Aim bot kids. Be sure to do your research.

Make sure that the laptop or PC has the latest .NETframe like Allnutt said. I had no idea what that was at first and I couldn't do much since I had bought the Chaotic360 tool and that tool required the updated .NETframe.

I have a 2016 Macbook pro but have bootcamp running windows. I assume that it will work with no problem. Well fingers crossed.

100 start off at a pace comfortable for you. Take your time to get a feel of the techniques, I assume you have already done this. If not do that first! Also you do not want to underestimate the motivation you can get from peer pressure. Check around the active modding sites out there, see which are active, which projects have a mixture of experienced and novice modders, which projects are looking for people to join them, etc. Peer pressure if taken in moderation can be a good thing. Seeing results from your teammates, and having them encourage you to do your part, often leads to you finishing your part.

That's what I have and it works. Make sure you download Xbox 360 neighborhood to transfer files smoothest.
