Bru wrote Yes, I've used my vote this morning! My vote has gone to UKIP after carefully reading pledges from all major parties.

In my personal opinion I think the conservatives need to go, yes they are pushing brexit ahead but they are also looking to privatise our NHS, but the most important thing we need to look at is our security forces! They need to be given more power and our boarders need to be more strict in who is allowed to come into our country. In no way shape or form am I a racist person, im all for a multi cutltural country but our country are letting known terrorist suspects into our land which needs to stop but in my opinion the torries are not the right people to do this for us.

They were born here, that's not letting anyone in. Ill informed voter once again.

But you voted, props to you.
Want to explain how he is an "ill informed voter"? All he said was that he wants the border control tightened. He didn't say anything about people that where born here either. Throwing insults because someone doesn't share the same views as you. GG

I said about one point.

I also got the impression that the comment about letting known terrorist suspects in was a bit .. well you know..

The 3 most recent attacks in the UK were committed by UK residents, albeit Muslim but it's really hard to spot terrorism. Yes tightening down the border is something that is an absolute must, to prevent those from travelling between Turkey, Syria, Libya and all other countries that recruit, fund and train terrorism.

I don't think they're just allowing them, but more like because they're a UK resident they can't actually refuse their entry unless they have sufficient evidence that they are involved in terrorism

A bit what? Don't hedge, speak your mind.

The guys point, a point which I'm slowly coming around to, is that if someone has expressed a fondness for Islamist groups like Al Qaeda, the Taliban, Hamas, ISIS, etc. and they leave this country to go to Syria, Libya, etc. they shouldn't be allowed back in, or if they are allowed back in then they are given one of the top spots on the watch list and are subject to round the clock surveillance.

You probably know this, but I'm confused as to why you're pointing out the current state of things in response to someone saying the current state of things needs to change.

Conservatives are the largest party in the exit poll but don't have a majority.

That's just the exit poll though.
