TBH it's never really mattered to me.

I've never played a game where your gender impacts the gameplay in any meaningful way, so I just pick whatever the default option is.

I would never play as another genders character.

Unless I have to throughout campaign or something but I would never choose to be the other gender.


Now if we're talking online multiplayer, than yes I like to find games with the other gender.

People are so... fragile. Why would it matter if someone played as the opposite sex character on a videogame? It might even be as simple that the person just identifies as the other sex or simply prefers playing as the other sex.

It really shouldn't be a debate lol. Games give you the options of playing as a different sex or even as a different race.

I personally don't mind it at all, if a guy want's to play as a female go for it, same if a girl want's to play as a guy.

It really does depend on the game. For example, in Skyrim I have multiple characters playing as a different class/playstyle. That being said, I would make the 2 handed warrior with heavy armor a male, while a thief and stealth oriented character may be female.

I like playing as female characters so I can look at myself naked. ;)

But on a serious note, I usually don't switch it up, I mostly just play as a dude, I did make a female character on gta recently. But really I don't have a preference.
