Hello everyone. I'm kamilca, I'm not happy with myself, I think becoming thinner, stronger and healthier would boost my mental health, I have incredibly bad anxiety, I think this "transformation" will help me.

Its taken me a lot to come to this, I don't like opening up much online but im scared for my body, mind and health.

As ive gotten bigger my mental health and anxiety has become much worse. So im asking for real advice to improve myself.

I don't have access to a gym, I own a bench press and some free weights. I am able to buy things if they dont cost tons, such as pushup bars etc, please suggest stuff etc.

From today im not going to eat junk, I'm only going to eat 3 meals a day, and im not going to drink anything but water. Ive heard this is a good start.

Now please don't troll me, I'm currently at around 23 stone / 146KG / 322 pounds

I'm about 6ft, and I hold this weight pretty well mostly on my back and legs but obviously I have a belly. The lowest Ive been in recent years is about 18 stone.

I NEED this, I need motivation, advice, perhaps even a partner to compare with and help push me.

Best advice I can give you is exercise and eat right. I am overweight currently and I wouldn't be typing back if I didn't feel as if I could help. The hardest part is laying off junk food and pop. Just keep with your diet try to exercise daily. I was 304lbs when this school year started and I joined the baseball team and dropped to 285 just from the exercise with no strict diet. If I would've had a set diet I would've lost a lot more. Just keep with it no matter how hard it gets or how bad you want that candy bar or pop or whatever it may be don't give in. I am still trying to this day to lose more weight. Just gotta keep pushing and not give up.

Exercise, healthy eating and a perseverant attitude. If you reallyyyy want this change to happen, you've gotta set your mind to it and make it a very personal goal. I'm gonna be rooting for you.

If I'm honest I would say don't bother. Learn to be happy in you're own skin.
Changing might not be what will make you happy. What if you change and still feel the same about yourself? I would personally just stay how you are and try to build confidence in yourself.

If you really wanna change then, stick to a strict dieting regime & intense workouts daily. Go on long runs (1-2 hours) every other day & stick at it for a few months. It will take time, change doesn't happen over night

Start off with baby steps. Go for walks and slowly make them longer and longer. Eventually them walks will turn into runs & them runs will turn into marathons

Everyone starts somewhere, don't expect too much from yourself right from the start. Things like this take time

It's really not that difficult, although you might think it is. Lay off of all junk food. That includes chips, pops, premade stuff, and any other sugars. I wouldn't start lifting weights yet if I were you, I'd try to drop some of that weight first. Every morning, like maybe a hour or so after you wake up, go on a 20-25 min walk and start from there. Try to go again later on in the day. Stick to what I told you and you should see progress. Remember, to lose weight, all you need to do is eat less calories than what you need and you will lose weight, but remember to exercise and keep a healthy diet. I suggest looking up a calorie calculator online to see how much you need and drop whatever it is but a few hundred calories while still exercising and eating healthy. Remember to drink quite a bit of water too.

Just start with baby steps, Start with eating right. Clean out your kitchen get rid of all the un-healthy stuff and replace it with fruits, vegetables and other healthy stuff you think you'll enjoy. Also stop drinking your calories, water should be the only thing you're drinking. Check out some youtuber's and watch some of their inspirational videos if you're ever feeling unmotivated or down, You can do this We all believe in you

Take it one day at a time. As everyone else has said, cut out the fizzy drinks, crisps, chocolate etc. Diet is the most important thing and if you cut them out, you're already winning.

Keep at it buddy and keep us updated on your progress. We're all rooting for you!
