Fold wrote Depending on the school you go to, there's likely a program for both. Start with either CS as a major or minor and acting as a major or minor (opposite of what you chose CS to be). Start taking classes for both right away with a focus more on the major. If you fall in love with your minor, make it your major and completely drop the other program unless you want to pursue a minor in it. If after 1 year you don't like the original minor, drop it. That way you can test the water in both departments and see which one you'd rather.

EDIT:
I'm so tired sorry for all the edits and mistakes.

Thanks for this. I'll probably major in CS & have acting as a minor, didn't really think about doing both

I respect your idea to go into acting!

Have you done forensics, drama club, improv or acting?

I loved acting in high school. My parents did not want that to be what I majored in though.

Instead, I majored in Biology with pre-health science minor so I can go onto med school later. I've always had an altruistic personality, so it has been wonderful so far!

In order to fill that acting void, I've done improv and other clubs here that have helped me follow that passion too!

My advice: Go into computer science, and maybe an acting minor. That would be really cool!

I'm moving to a new school next year, so i'll most likely join the drama club just to get a feel for it. I'm thinking about majoring in CS and having acting as my minor, like you said. We'll see how it works out

I wouldn't recommend college especially right after highschool. Unless you wanna be paying off student loans for a minute. Just get certified in something you want to pursue and you'll be set
