I'm in the market for a new car. I currently own a 2016 Nissan Altima, but I'm upgrading. I have my eyes set on getting either a Maserati Quattroporte or a Jaguar F-Type. Whichever I get, will be custom built and a brand new 2017.

What's your opinion on the two? Which would you pick and why?

Damn, pretty pricey but I'd say Maserati Quattroporte for sure.

Why Quattroporte? It's just an overpriced Ghilbli. Also the Jaguar base MSRP is 61k and the Quattroporte is $103k. Based on value, I'd go for the F-type. I guess what it comes down to is what is the car for? The Quattroporte is more of a family car wheres the F-type is for single guys with.... well you get the point.

I personally would stay away from Jaguar, Maserati, Porsche, Lamborghini, Ferrari, etc. Reason being is that these are all cars that are meant to be Sunday drivers. They depreciate TREMENDOUSLY with mileage. Honestly there are much nicer cars out there that will be cheaper. Nissan GTR, Corvette ZR1, Mustang GT350R, Dodge Demon, SRT Viper, Cadillac CTS-V, Alfa Romeo 4C, etc. etc.
