So i have a Jeep Rubicon 2016.

Recently i had a company install ballistic panels on the back two doors, this required me to remove the automatic window function and install a manual knob (which is fine)

But the question is, i am getting the front two doors done this weekend and i want to know if i can relocate the window switches in the front to the dash. I already have two switches on my dash. One is for my lightbar and the other is for the my blue emergency lights.

The company does not do rewiring for that sort of thing, for insurance purposes.

So the wiring is there and the switches are there, i just need to know if it can be done since i spent $8,500 on the back doors and will be spending another $8,500 on my front doors, i want to know if it possible because if it's not i will have to find another alternative.

Well the short answer is yes, you can.

I'm not sure what the technicalities are in your specific case, however I know I've seen armored vehicles with power windows. I assume the reason they want you to convert to manual mirrors is to eliminate wires in the door for more armor. If you put wires there, the armor would (I assume) need to be thinner.

Yes, if we keep them wired. They need more space and it thins the armor. So I want them to be automatic but rewired to the dash. I will have to look into it now though

I don't think the issue is where the switch is located so much as the actual wires going through the door as something still has to power the window regulator.
