Console could be over heating. Also falcons are own to freeze alot. Try and take off your Hard drive and see if it still freezes that way.

It doesnt freeze now. Put the hdd back on after turning it off and now it wont boot.

Could be a corrupt hard drive then? If you take the hdd back off it'll boot?

Yup, sounds like the hard drive took a shit or a file on the hard drive is making it not boot/freeze. Some menus/stealth servers can cause this issue.

I would just use your external drive instead of a hdd. Just change all of your plugins on your launch.ini to reflect the change (ie change the location of the files to Usb) and then just run your rgh off that. I didn't have a hdd for a long time with my console and it works fine.

So your using a 1TB usb?

Correct. Heres my harddrive layout.
20gb Stock HDD: Nothing on it.
1TB External USB Drive: Everything on it.
I remove both Harddrives and it boots and doesnt freeze. I put both back on and it freezes and has issues like ive stated.

So if the external drive is bad, what do i do about getting everything off of it and on to another one? I have literally 30 games with all dlcs, etc content.
