Simple topic asking when you believe someone is considered an adult.
Personally I believe anyone the age of 16 is an adult, it's consent in my state and that's when things are really changing in a persons life.
There are also other reasons such as being able to work, and drive that tie into my thought as well.
So what about you, how old does someone have to be to be considered an adult to you.

when you "mature" as most would say. You are more then likely considered an adult.

By law, a person becomes a legal adult at 18 years of age.
But adults can still show immaturity until a later date.
I'd say a person isn't really mature until late-20's or so.
Some people mature younger depending on their surroundings.
I joined the military at 18 and by 22 had my own apartment and currently just had my daughter while other people my age are still hanging out drinking and partying so again, it depends on your surroundings and mentality.

Anything ending in teen is still a teenager, hence six"teen", nine"teen" etc.
Most people don't stop growing until their twenties anyway, I wouldn't consider someone who's still growing an adult.
Maturity is a completely different thing though, some people are very mature for their age, that doesn't make them an adult though.

Everybody is different based on their maturity levels, but you really don't know who you are until about 26

I dont think there is really a set age.
Everybody matures at different levels.
That being said, what defines maturity? I don't think we can properly gauge maturity. People may class handling finances well as being mature. But if you start dicking around and joking with your mates, does that then mean you arnt mature? Don't know if that makes sense but thats my opinion.
