Disregard my comment about that. Could you possibly post some pictures of the current cable setup, whenever you can.

Are the 7 ethernet cables all going to your room or do they goto different rooms?

Oh okay instead of running 7 cables to your room you could've had your set up like this.

Modem-->1 Ethernet Cord-->Switch-->ethernet cords to devices.

Yeah I am ordering another Ethernet cord to run directly to my setup room because I have it running into my bed room right now through a switch in there to the switch in my room and for the way the cord is ran from the 5th floor to basement i will leave a picture because i probably wont describe it well but I have it in the attic running to the outside of my house through a hole that leads to the basement. i know it is not ideal but i made sure the cord I have can withstand the weather and I will put my switch some where that I can cable manage it because I have been reading that it is not safe to run cords through the wall but idk to be honest. And this picture was taken earlier while running the new ethernet cord.

Nice stuff going on, I'm not sure if there are any dangers of running them through walls other than scuffing electrical wires when making holes. Also try to keep ethernet cords about 6inches away from electrical wires that run in your attic as they could interfere with your speeds by reducing them But electrical cables from PCs and consoles won't mess with it so you'll be fine.

Good luck!
