Basically when you've done your classes (coursework) you don't have to go in School for those lessons and you only have to go in when you have an exam. It's so that you can study at home (which I doubt most do)

I would just take however much time you need off for study, the school isn't going to care much if you're not in at the end of the year before tests. Your performance in the tests is a lot more important than your attendance.

I'm finishing for study leave on the 12th of May. Then I've a month and a half of exam period but I've only 6 exams to sit, my schools pretty fair to us.

for my senior year right now, I start class at like 7:30 and I come home before noon (11:47) to be exact. The rest of my classes from 11:47 - 2:20 are study halls, so we're allowed to leave.

our school doesn't offer that but, I can't complain I go for like 4 hours.

My school had all the exams within a two week period or something like that was either two weeks or a week but you got the two weeks before them as study leave

Never had study leave in my school.

I had study leave but they ran classes when it got close to the exam.

To be fair I don't know anyone that actually studied during study leave, at least for GCSEs anyway (UK). Do they have a specific reason as to why not? You could try bringing it up with your school and saying you need the time at home to study effectively.
