  • To achieve the badge you have an original idea of yours implemented into the site! Only given to members who have had their ideas implemented post V5.


I noticed that there wasn't a topic which showed the members that obtained the badge and what idea of theirs was implemented side by side in a single topic together! So I went ahead and created this topic since I am always curious how some members achieved the badge and what original idea(s) they came up with that were implemented!



The list of users with the badge (in no specific order):


  • -Silky - Addition of an Overwatch prefix under Gaming - General.
  • Carlooch - Secret staff stuff
  • Ethan
    - Sites updates & changes sticky found in the Sites Enhancements & Feedback section
    - Change to default setting to post on new members walls
    - fa icons and emotes on walls and comments
    - Jump to shoutbox under "jump to" tab (quick links now)
    - Seeing how many months of gold you have under your accounts' ellipses
  • gown - Post Count bar tweaks.
  • Greg - Winter Giveaway award.
  • JRT - YouTube section sticky and rules prior to the v5.1 update.
  • Matt - User online status vertical bar on profile page.
  • MrMeeseeks - Update of the colour scheme of the village Rated Awesome award similar to how it was in previous versions of TTG.
  • Netflix - Posting control panel available via "Quick Reply".
  • Potion - Supporter award design.
  • Rodent_Modz -
  • Snowhiter - Secret staff stuff




I don't know what ideas some of the members came up with so I will need some help filling this out! Also, if any of the users had multiple ideas implemented after V5 launch then please post them all so I can add them to the list! I know I am not the only person that asks the Idea Guys how they got the badge so this topic is not just for my use, its for the communities. The Idea Guys should be proud of this accomplishment and want the community to know what they had added to the site to make it better and run more efficiently!

Thank you for the feedback and help! Seems like there has a been a gap of knowledge on this topic and I think I might've (with the help of others) filled it in a little bit!

I swear I saw like 20+ people suggest a Overwatch forum, why did only 1 guy get the badge for it lmao.

Offering the Idea guy for a simple prefix is in bad taste, as there has been numerous people coming up with ideas for prefixes and sections before the update and most of them were overlooked. You can look back in the section and see people asking for an overwatch section since it's release.

I persued and got the prefix implemented with great efforts along with individually reporting each OW related post made within the past update to have it moved correctly to he new prefix.
I also suggested a Overwatch badge (gained by frequent quality posts) which I believe to the best of my knowledge is being implemented along with the other new forum related badges expected soon, saying that though this badge is not guaranteed.

I have actually tried contacting you on multiple different occasions in the shoutbox but it seemed like I could never get a response back. So in the end I just gave up and tried it figure it out on my own!
