Hi all me again!!

Firstly apologies if this is in the wrong section. I couldn't find where the best place to put it was so please move if necessary.

As I am sure you are aware i built myself a new rig and works a dream. It is my birthday today and it is all downhill from here i turned 30...

Anyway i would like to upgrade to a 7.1 surround sound gaming headset with some money recieved.

I am watching YouTube for different options and choices but will always ask here for guidance.

Play League of Legends, PUBG, H1Z1, Hellion, SMITE, Dirty Bomb.

Seen this set on offer and looks like a good price?

Max Budget £150 but give or take £10 - £20 higher if the headset blows the rest away. Prefer to stick under £150.

Not fussed wired or wireless but wireless sounds handy.

Thanks All in advance.

The Arctis 7's use DTS 7.1 sorround and i think Dolby 7.1 surround is ment to be much better?
Therefor i would reccomend you the Astro a40s they are £149.99 spot on
Here is a link to them - [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
There will probably be many suggestions so take your pick and read up on what is the best type of 7.1 surround sound.

Kind regards

Would you recommend Closed or Open Back?

Also there are some comprehensive reviews on the web as well as YouTube saying build your own.

Pre built ones are overpriced? You could get a much better setup buying bits separately.

Anyone done this?

Closed ear if you want a more powered sound, and open ear if you want to be able to hear around you.

The G930 has superior sound and competes well with the hyper x clouds from my views, i rarely use my clouds unless i am watching something, or playing sound intensive games.
