I have tried everything to fix this error and it's been occurring for the past three weeks.

Every time I try to download something it giving me this error......

I'm so confused I had no problems, I have tried changing download location, deleting download cache, deleting steam and reinstalling it. It says I'm online on steam and I can do everything else but I can't download nothing..Oh and I also restarted my router.

If anyone knows what to do please help me, my internet connection works on Uplay and Origin perfectly fine also on uTorrent and general web browsing.

Make sure there's an exception for Steam in your anti-virus. I had a similar problem when I bought a new laptop about a year ago. Might fix your problem.

Okay so I checked both Windows Firewall and my anti-virus and they are not blocking steam at all so it's a different problem.

Yes I've tried multiple different regions and nothing has worked.

Do you have another laptop/PC you could try this with?

Okay so update on the situation.

I installed steam on my mum's laptop and ALL THE DOWNLOADS WORKED FINE.

I have no idea, it has something to do with my PC because it's working fine on the same network.

Any ideas?

make a new steam library folder elsewhere on the system and try again.
