I don't really like Sub focus anymore, feel like he's gone down that mainstream route like Andyc, Sigma and Wilkinson

true I don't rly rate them but Andy c is an actual don, I've seen him play loads and it's straight vibes from start to finish. I do have time for afterglow by wilkinson tho, rude boy by sigma and stomp by sub focus.. all wicked tunes

I've never seen Andyc but i know he is a don. i've saw a clip of him using vinyls at made festival in Birmingham, mad to think a DJ still plays vinyl sets in this day and age where it's so much easier to do usb sets. I'd love to see him but what kinda of dnb does he play? I love jump up and tbh the only jump up tracks i can see him playing is bricks don't roll and mr happy by hazard( well i mean what DJ doesn't play that, I've even seen house djs play it lol). I know RAM has ALOT of Neuro dj's so probably he plays Neuro

I've seen sigma once and I enjoyed it, they only played about two songs from their latest album, the rest were jump up bangers. I took a risk with that, i weren't expected to jump up from them, their dj sets are way better than there live sets, i reckon that probably applies the same to Netsky and Wilkinson

Yeah he uses timecode vinyl which is cool, same as marky . Andy c literally plays everything you want to hear he finds the best mixes with tunes like he'll be double dropping every tune and he makes everything work so well together. He gets sent everything from everyone so he has all the tunes u could imagine. He's doing a radio show on Beats 1 live recording from his residency at xoyo I'll try and find it later and link you cos they're banging

The lineups for his xoyo residency are top notch. What brum is missing is dnb residency nights and dnb u18 events. London has Xoyo with Andyc, Fabric had playaz( don't know if they still do). Bristol has some under 18 dnb events, i know innovation does a few under 18 events there. Don't get me wrong the dnb scene here in Birmingham is super healthy and i'd say it's on par with Bristol's and London's but I know when I was between the ages of 16-18 which was about 2 years ago, I don't remember seeing them type of nights
