im gonna add to this in the morning, ideas of badges if i can think of any! these are just ideas that popped into my head so!
i was thinking maybe a Console Master/King badge
achieve this in a similar way to achieving the pc master race badge
just a quick mock up of the badge not the best looking hence why its a mock up/ rough idea

i was also thinking of maybe a badge for how many years you have been here and it changes each year so for 1 year you get a badge then when you hit 2 years you get a new badge

another idea is higher then a Veteran poster
say maybe another badge for 25k, then 30k etc could call one The Unstoppable or Veteran soldier

another badge you could getting 100 replies on a topic then 200, 500 etc could be called Reply hero or something

another badge could be for the top 5 poster(s) on TTG ino they get the rainbow coloured name but why not stick them with a badge to go with it dont no what it could be called tho.

Me and Scott have wanted this badge for about 3 years now. Id like to see this implemented.
Especially for the movie guru's.

I will create the gfx later for the badges but here are some ideas,
Informant: Someone that is constantly reporting rule breaking topics/posts. You must have an above average report rate(3/4 of your reports are genuine reports and the posts are then dealt with). This would have to be given out at staff discretion but I feel like it wouldn't be given out as often as other badges. So maybe switch it to get 100 approved reports or something like that.
The Analyst: Someone who is constantly in sports section posting great/unique posts about sports or a certain sport. Would be given at staff discretion just like PCMR.

With the new prefixes I thought I can come in here and just give my idea on a badge that I thought may have a chance. Not sure if this was already posted in here since I haven't read everyones idea yet.
News Anchor: This badge can be obtained by creating topics either in the Gaming News prefix, News Forum, or sending in news to TTG over a period of time or just by given to you by staff. The font awesome Icon is the fa-newspaper-o which is just a newspaper which fits perfect with the badge name.

Don't have the design or that but if somebody wants to add it then would be'
' Giveaway King/Hero or something along they lines
To achieve would to be obviously do legitimate giveaways among the community frequently or have to be very good giveaways rather instead of just gold gifter giveaways ,
Not the best idea but would something I think most people would attempt another little badge on the community

(Have 100 film reviews submitted - whatever the same amount for game reviewer)
One of my most requested ones are a news report er have because often news on TTG is quite a few days later than where I've read it elsewhere.
Tbh there doesn't even need to be a badge but let people actually post to the homepage.
Out of personal interest I would like to see a badge related to programming. I guess it would be one of the 'given out at staff discretion' ones)
Another idea I had was to have a badge related to being gifted multiple times. Something along the lines of 'liked' or 'helpful' etc and would be given for getting gifted gold 25 times (I mean that's being gifted over 2 years worth of gold time so you must be fairly useful)

I haven't really thought much into how this could be obtained but an idea could be that it is obtained by having outstanding photography or just great Photography.
I am aware there are a load of members on site who are into Photography and could maybe obtain a badge for the Photography they upload to the Showcase Prefix and/or a thread in the prefix.
Im not the best at explaining or putting things into the greatest of words but you'll know what i mean by reading above.

These were some of the badges that I came up with on the topic. I feel like it is important to have badges for being active throughout the site. I feel like it would boost activity in every forum, as it would give rewards to people who posted.
Now on to some ideas I just thought of!

First let me provide some insight on this one: Tons of forums have this. Its crazy to believe we don't have something like it already. Its a monthly news "paper". A select few members would run the group and keep members updated every week or month. This could range from member interviews, to news, to new features coming soon. Anything staff would see appropriate for a group like this.
News Cast: Be a group member, or be interviewed by the group at some point!.

Seasonal Member: You know how the website has special badges like Christmas, Summer Giveaway, E3 2016, ect? Well this badge rewards members who participate in all the events. This also rewards members for being active throughout the year!

Sports Enthusiast: Like some of the other badges, this badge rewards members who are active in the sports section!

100% support news crew.
News that is based off the site. News about members, upcoming site events, top post of the week, whatever. Small stuff like that brings ttg to a more personal level.
