How do I join the Shoutbox?
Click the following link:

OR
You can find the Shoutbox manually by going to the top of the page by your name/notifications and click 'Quick Links' :

When you click that, it will bring up multiple links to access different areas on the site. All you want to do is click, 'Shoutbox' :

Upon your arrival in the Shoutbox, you may hear very loud noises and these are from the special staff emotes in the shoutbox such as this:
Not to worry, to stop these loud noises from blowing your eardrums out, you can disable them in the settings tab:
Following on from this, set 'Play Shout Alert' to 'NO' as shown below:
Everytime you join the Shoutbox, you're one step closer to achieving the 'Shoutbox Hero' ranking:

... Only if you're lucky enough to receive a visit from the Shoutbox Rep Fairy.
(To earn the badge you must be active in the Shoutbox at the time of the fairy visiting - You must be visited 25 times to earn the badge.)
How do I know if I'm lucky enough to have been visited by the fairy?
1. On your reputation sheet (accessed through your account) it will show reputation received from TheTechGame +200 :

2. You'll hear a magical sound (providing Shout Alerts are ON), shown by some animation on your screen.

PLEASE NOTE
It must be said, normal forum site rules apply within the Shoutbox. Sometimes you may feel like things are taken too far, in which case contact a member of staff. But 99% of the time people are not serious, and are there for a laugh.
I look forward to seeing you in there, and would be great to see some new faces!
