People get tattoos for various reasons. I myself will never get a tattoo for something that can change.

For example, I plan on getting my first tattoo in the next 3 months. This tattoo is going to somehow represent atheism. Why? Because my belief on that subject is never going to change.

My dad has a portrait of myself from when I was 1 month old on his shoulder, I am always going to be his son. Wether or not he outlives me, I was and will always be his son and that's his way of showing it.
