Youre an idiot lol. How old are you? Old enough to get one? Have you ever talked to anyone with tattoos?

Tattoos are art. Some people want art on their body. Way i see it, the body is a canvas. And im not going to die as a blank canvas.
A lot of people have meaning behind them, which makes the pain worth it.

Its 2017, NOT having tattoos is the weird thing bro.

maybe because they like to have art on their bodies, @sm_lobbys it makes getting jobs harder due to some places dont like the worker to have tats on their body and dont want the customers/works to see it (if its mainly inappropriate than its a whole different story) but yeah people shouldnt judge others but thats the world were in

Everyone has their own opinion on something. Some see tattoos in a bad way, others don't.

I don't see anything wrong with them tbh

Tattoo's are a expressive of emotions. Its a persons body and they have the right to do as they wish with it.

I can see why some may question it when some people just get one out of the blue.

Very few jobs are stringent over tattoo's. The British military and police force allow tattoo's any where below cuff and collar. Obviously face and offensive tattoo's are not allowed but aslong as its within the regulations then you are OK.

Only problem I have w/ this post is you said people getting tattoos have something going on in their life.

Does that mean people w/ tattoos live sad lives?
Does that mean people w/ tattoos are broke?
Does that mean people w/ tattoos are lower than you bc you don't have any?
Does that mean people w/ tattoos can't have been happy w/ their decision.

Although saying you don't like tattoos is ok but as far as judging everyone the way you want to see them is nonsense, I know people w/ tattoos who will make it ever so further in life than you have, and not to be rude but if you think people have something bad happening in life for them to get a tattoo, I will get a tattoo of ur username on my arm to show you that you don't gotta be depressed to get them, you can just be stupid and get dumb ones but I don't think anyone has ever sat down and was like "wow im sad lets go get 1400$ sleeve done because my sadness" if that was the case the world would be people covered in ink because I can tell you this right now not one single person has remained happy their entire life.

In the job I'm in, since we work for HMRC, having visible tattoos will be seen negatively; thus not allowed. By all means have tattoos, just be aware that in some professions they're a hindrance
