Basically I was using my Laptop and it indicated it was low on battery so I plugged the charger in and about 5-10 minutes later while using it it immediately turned off. Unplugged and re-plugged the charger, that didn't work. Next I unplugged the battery, and plugged the charger in, that didn't work. I thought it maybe overheated so I let it rest for about 2 hours or so without the battery plugged in and that didn't work either. I thought it was the charger that was broken but the charger has a green light indicating that it does work. I ran out of conclusion and don't know what to do. I left a picture of the model and serial number because I don't know what is which.

You said that you see a green light on the charger cable, what about the laptop itself? When you plug the charger into the DC-Jack of the laptop, do you see a light on the front of the laptop indicating that it successfully receiving power?

The battery indicator light on the laptop should look a little like this:

It seems that your DC-Jack has broken, that is why you're having the problems you've stated. If you plug in your charger cable to the laptop, give it a good wiggle. Chances are the reason why it has stopped working is because the jack itself is really loose and it is not making a proper connection to the motherboard. If it's still a snug fit, then you have just been unlucky and the DC-Jack has died on you.

To get your laptop back up and running again, you're going to have to get a DC-Jack replacement. You can either do this yourself, or take it to a local computer store for them to fit. The actual part itself is very inexpensive, however it is a full strip down of the laptop and quite a time consuming job so local companies may charge quite a bit for it. The computer store I used to work at, we had a set price of £60 GBP to give you a rough idea of pricing.

If you feel confident in doing this yourself, you will need to pick up one of the cables I have attached below. The whole process includes disassembling the laptop completely, and swapping the DC-Jacks out. It's not exactly a hard job, just a very daunting task for anyone that hasn't done it before.
