Ok so I am currently 16 and from UK, 2 months until my birthday and already have my car for turning 17.... the car is a 1.4 Corsa D petrol 06

Which company would give me the best price on the car.
I should also mention it will be lowered just in case some company's have a policy against that.

Thanks in return xxxxxxx <3

I am from Canada and don't have any knowledge on how any of that works in the UK, but if it is anything like Canada your best bet would be to call different insurance companies and try and get quotes or estimates on how much it would be monthly to insure your car!

I don't think a lot of people would know exactly which company to go with, but I am sure you could maybe get some recommendations from different users.

The best thing to do would be to call different companies though yourself and tell them what you're looking for!

Hopefully this helped a bit!

Look on comparison sites for the best deal, just google car insurance and it should show comparison sites, fill in everything then a load of offers will pop up for you.

since you're young it's going to be expensive but you'll get a good deal somewhere

You are young and a new driver so your fees will be high. As the person above stated, i am not from the UK but the best option is to get quotes from different companies. No matter where you go you'll still be paying a decent amount since you are new but as the years progress it'll go down.

We don't know everything about the car or insurance companies in your area. Just call them and find out

Do not lower your car.

For the love of god, do not doing anything to the car; Insurance companies will ream you out.

You will be looking at £1300-2000 for your first year of car insurance. Direct line generally seem to be the best for your first year but I would recommend checking "Compare the Market". NOTE: Direct line are not on compare sites so you will need to a quote from them directly.

I would suggest not doing anything to your car till your first 12 months are up; once they are up your insurance will drop incredibly.

Yeah bro in all honesty, you need to just shop around. I keep looking on comparison sites etc for myself as I'll be driving by March but the quotes are very ridiculous for 17-25 year olds.

There are so many factors that go into it. You and your buddy might get the exact same car, same year, engine, trim level, have the same driving record and be the same age, but if you live in different parts of the area, your rates will be different. With that said, so much goes into the prices. Color of the vehicle, size of the engine, trim level, auto or standard, 2 door or 4 door, rwd, fwd, awd, or 4x4, sedan, coupe, or hatchback, does it have aftermarket wheels, any permanent modifications, is it financed or owned, etc. etc. Then we start looking into you. What is your age, where do you live, what is your income, what is your race, do you have bad credit, etc. etc.

That of course doesn't matter until you decide how much coverage you want. Just call companies and get quotes.
