I'm strongly considering tattooing my forearm (I have two upper halfsleeves) and I was wondering how it would affect getting jobs and such? Anyone have any experiences they'd like to share?

Never had a problem with mine. But it depends on what career path you wish to pursue.

Tattoos are always gonna affect some people that hire you.
So this one is totally your choice.

What are some that would be a hinderence to this? Obviously like a lawyer, wall street, etc. but what about say a police man or something like that? Or like social jobs with person to person interaction?

This is only one article with a pretty small sample size (300), so it may not be the most accurate thing. However it talks about the results they obtained

Truth be told, tattoos on the forearm are easily covered up, especially with the jobs you listed. Most of those jobs you will be wearing some sort of long sleeved shirt, police officer is probably the only expectation of long sleeved as I don't think you want to be out in the heat in long sleeves. I have seen a fair amount of police officers with tattoos from their bicep to their shoulder, so I don't see how a forearm tattoo would have an impact on a job; however that would be something to research for the police department of where an application would go.

If worse comes to worse, you can always get some sort of concealer that matches your skin tone to hide the tattoo.

Haven't seen any issue because it is easily covered.

Well law enforcement you are fine, as long as the tattoos are not Gang Related. You should be good. Any other job you shouldn't have a problem with.
